Serving Our Community
Casano Center Food Pantry
Community UMC collects non-perishable items and monetary donations for the pantry each month and is on call to provide additional needs to those suffering from food insecurity.
Souper Bowl of Caring
Every Super Bowl Sunday, CUMC collects food and monetary donations for local food pantries. 2023 recipients were: Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and Casano Food Pantry.
Roselle Park Community Town Wide Cleanup
CUMC members and friends participate each Spring & Fall in the town-organized clean-up to help maintain the cleanliness and beauty of our Community.
Bridges
CUMC provides fresh bag lunches on a quarterly basis that are taken to the homeless in neighboring communities and NYC.

Community Preschool
CUMC houses and oversees a Christian daycare center and preschool which loves and nurtures 2-5 year olds where “learning is serious business.”

Supporting Our Nation and Our World
UMCOR: United Methodist Commission on Relief
Natural disasters, war victims as well as victims from other disasters are generously supported by the congregation of Community UMC.
Hero Rat
Each month, we contribute part of our Joyful Noise collection to Hero Rat which raises & trains rats to sniff out landmines in war torn areas, saving countless human and animal lives.
Heifer
Each Advent & Christmas season, we collect special donations used for buying Heifer organization animals. These animals are used by underserved families to produce sustainable living.
