DISTRICT DAY OF PRAYER

In preparation for the upcoming

Special General Conference

On February 23 to 26, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri,

our church will be hosting the Gateway North District Day of Prayer on

Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at Community UMC.

A light breakfast will be served.

Volunteers are needed.

Support CUMC while you shop online

Shopping from a computer:
Go to the home page of UMCmarket.org and click on the green “Join Now”-button and follow the simple steps to download our plug-in. By doing this, your computer will automatically register when you enter an online shop that’s in our network, and you will be informed of the percentage of your purchase that the store will donate to your church. After downloading the plug-in, go to Organizations and search for your church and press Join. When you’re ready to start shopping, the donation will go directly to your home church.

Shopping from a tablet or smartphone (works also for computers):
Go to the home page of UMCmarket.org and log in with your email-address and a password in the upper right hand corner. If you haven’t designated your home church, click on the Organizations tab and search for your church and press Join. You only need to do this once.

Finding my church
Every United Methodist Church in the US is listed on UMC market. If you have trouble finding your church, try to search for the name (exclude UMC or United Methodist etc.) and add the town you’re located in. If you still don’t find it, e-mail our support team and we will help you finding it.

What stores are participating and how much do they give back?
Under the tab Stores you can search for stores in a lot of different categories. Next to every store you will see the percentage that they have agreed to pay back every time you make a purchase. Your micro-donations will automatically appear in your account for all stores except for AMAZON. Amazon purchases have to be claimed. Within 24-48 hours after your purchase you can claim it by going to MY PAGE on UMCMARKET.org and click on PURCHASE NOTIFICATIONS. Add the name of your item on the row with the corresponding price and your donation will soon be approved.
